Happy New Year -- let's start with some weed pulling!

I hope everyone has a great New Year, complete with incredible opportunities and adventures.  I spent ours with my family and friends at a New Year's Bowling Party at the local lanes: we have gone the last 3 years now, and we had a super time.

Then I got up this morning and spent 45 minutes deleting all the "free World of Warcraft gold" comments from my past blog posts. WoW is right! These guys have the busiest little spambots in the world. But now we are spam free ...

A great way to start the new year.

My resolutions: do less exercise and eat more cake... I am tired of making resolutions I can't keep and these seem pretty easy.

A new house?

Well, all good things must come to an end – and in the military, that means it’s time for a PCS – or permanent change of station – move.

We don’t know exactly when or where, but we are expecting this summer, and possibly heading off to CENTCOM. You may remember them as the first military organization to gain notice for their engagement strategy regarding the blogosphere. We hope to know for sure sometime in the next month or so.

In the meantime, we have been considering whether to buy or rent in the Tampa Bay area, where MacDill AFB and CENTCOM are located.

I have found this great blog that has lots of information about national housing markets. The author doesn’t seem to think we have nearly hit the bottom of the market yet and lays out a rather compelling case.

Take a look; it’s definitely worth the read.
