Mis-take

Mistrial for Lt. Watada,

Well, Reuters has just reported that 1LT Ehren Watada's trial has ended in a mistrial. The new trial may start in March. No doubt this will give the anti-freedom for Iraq movement the impression that they're winning. I'll be interested to see how the Democratic hopefuls ignore how the military bends over backwards to protect the legal rights of its members and instead concentrate on how this just proves that the military is out "to get" Watada.

Because you know we are....I mean, we don't really take that whole, "you raised your hand and volunteered to go and fight for your country when and where we told you as long as the orders are lawful, which they have already proven to be in this case" thing seriously.

Or do we? Well, we'll see during the next trial.
